Plane returns to gate because of note in Florida

    yes, but you live in a world where toilet paper fluff can cause a whole plane to be evacuated...

    If it didn't involve a rescreening Grape, I'd carry around pre-written notes with me and leave them, at random, on planes just to wreak havoc on a broken and stupid system.

    "Suspicious" notes like these were fairly common. If found by a flight crew while the plane was still on the ground, then the probability of the plane returning to the gate was very high. There was even a higher probability the aircraft would be deplaned and the cabin searched. Now what constitutes "suspicious" can be defined differently by different people. It's not cheap to bring a plane back to the gate (or return to the field if airborne) a delay of nature will cut into a flight crew's duty time. Additionally the aircraft will have to be refueled before the decision is made as to what will happen to the flight.
