This is from 2007. Wonder how much worse it's gotten since then. Police Brutality Cases Rise 25% Since 9/11
Probably, but I would hope that the evidence is slowly chipping away at that. There's a lot that can be done to get the word out. I have a police brutality forum (thumperwatch.org) but as a couple other things (including TSA) have moved up on my list, it's been neglected. It would take 2-3 full-time equivalents to really cover the subject, and I'm already running flat out plus some. If anyone wants to contribute, let me know. If you follow my posting format, you will get the Google rankings & hits & the resulting traffic. The problem is keeping up with all the incidents and followup.
The blog post that Lisa linked to just passed you on to a USA Today article. The read comments on that USA Today article are just incredible: http://content.usatoday.com/community/comments.aspx?id=30487848.story&p=1 People were coming out the woodwork by the dozens to relate their own stories of police abuse.
