    Some COs send their troops off on liberty with a laundry list of rules. My husband always told his men, "Don't be stupid." When they made the blotter he generally issued them an unpleasant extra duty for violating the "One, simple, straight-forward, easy to remember command I gave you Friday afternoon at 1630!" I wouldn't be surprised if the wounded officer doesn't end up with a couple of months of thankless tasks while he heals.

    The only reason this is happening is because they were expensive drug-sniffing K-9 "Officers."

    Had this been a standard cop shooting a tail-wagging dog after trespass, not a word would be said.
