    Greenwich Patch: Former TSA Worker Sentenced in Narcotics Scheme

    A federal judge has sentenced former TSA officer Brigitte Jones to nearly 4 years in prison for her role in a narcotics trafficking operation through Westchester County Airport.

    Lower Hudson Journal: Former TSA officer at Westchester County Airport sentenced to more than 3 years in drug case

    A former Westchester County Airport-based TSA officer who admitted to taking cash bribes in exchange for allowing large quantities of illegal drugs to pass freely through airport security was sentenced Thursday to more than 3 1/2 years in federal prison.

    3 1/2 years is not enough time for violating the public trust in this way. She should have gotten 20+ IMHO. (I bet she's glad I wasn't the judge.)

    I'd want the job.

    Oh, of punishing them, I mean.

    "20 years imprisonment without possibility of parole, entirety of sentence to be served in solitary confinement. We look forward to hearing what brand-new language you inadvertently make up after 20 years of no human contact and talking only to yourself and walls."

    Every time she gets strip searched in prison I hope she remembers what SHE did to innocent passengers going through her check point.

    I doubt it. TSA employees are incapable of remorse.

    Which is why such things are ruled an 8th Amendment violation.

    Be kinder to just hang them and get it over with.
