I know a guy who is an officer in the DFW CAF. I was talking with him one day and asked when does a flying musem piece become so rare and valuable that flying the aircraft is just to risky. Accidents while rare happen and losing an aircraft like Liberty Bell is tragic. I hate to see these WWII aircraft not flown but I also would like to be sure that our ancestors can view these aircraft when we are long gone.
