Every single one of the comments there so far is on her side and against the TSA.

The TSA Sex Grope has to come to an end.

For our TSA members I have a question.

On a scale of 1 to 10 where 1 is no risk and 10 is great risk where would you place Jennifer Hudson on the risk scale?

I would think that with all of the retired judges, police, soon to be hired former Secret Service employees, and other highly trained personnel employed by TSA that TSA screeners could do a tiny bit of triage at the checkpoints and figure out who needs the full monty screening and who doesn't.

There are also pix/videos out there of Kate Beckinsale and Jennifer Lopez getting groped. And I'm sure many others; can't keep up with them all. (Also column written by Dave Barry last year about his experience of a private grope, after which the TSA thug asked for his autograph. Both he and everyone who interviewed him about it made light of it.)

Hasn't mattered to the sheeple so far. If anything, I bet they're glad to see celebrities brought down a notch or two. "They're no better than us!" I can hear it now.

That'd require each TSA employee to have a brain, and not all 60,000 of them share the one they borrowed from Abby Normal.

People end up working for the TSA when they have nowhere else to go - whether it's because they have uncontrollable urges to grope people for tenuous reasons, steal their stuff, or simply lack any other marketable skills.

A former Secret Service employee with any skills would end up with an outfit like Blackwater, or other real security agency. Former military ends up with the TSA after a Big Chicken Dinner, or deciding they hate the very country they once swore to defend.

I was taking a jab at the SS guys now in the news. They will be unemployeed soon, and TSA is hiring quality people.:td:

I know. That's why I suggested Blackwater - they've got a propensity for hiring people with skills but no morals. ;)

  8. Looking at the picture -- what is that pervy screener doing with her cleavage? If there's anything that could be cleared visually, it's cleavage like that.

I think she is actually trying to hold "up" the top of Jennifer's tight-fitting, low-cut, thinly-knit top to keep from dragging it down and exposing Jenn's "ta-ta's" while she rubs down on her tummy with the blue-gloved hands (yuk-puke). How very considerate of the pervy screener! Oh, wait, THAT's what they mean by "we treat all passengers with courtesy and respect, blah, blah, blah..."

  10. I see your point. How about skipping the fondling on somebody's form fitting tanktop that's revealing cleavage? What are the odds of somebody successfully concealing a true threat that way? How about that for "courtesy and respect" and "risk-based screening"?

Patting her down in that dress is almost like patting down bare arms. There's not much room to hide anything.

I would place her at 2.

And what risk would you assign to one of the TSA employees at that checkpoint at that time being a thief, child molester, rapist, or simply authority-mad thug?

Not knowing any of them at that checkpoint I would have to say 2 as well. Unfortunately I've had to work with a rapist, druggie, and child pornographer while being in the TSA so I can't say there's no risk.

Amazing how powerful celebrity has become in our culture.
If more celebs openly opposed TSA it would be fixed by now.

I'd go with "In any random interaction between a TSA schmuck and a traveler, it is almost infinitely more likely that the TSA schmuck is a thug, thief, rapist, child molester, or other sort of sociopath than that the traveler is a terrorist with means and motive."

And, yes, "schmuck" is a lot more appropriate than "officer" when referring to those who agree to molest their fellow citizens for money to no good effect.

I agree. You're more likely to go down in a plane crash from mechanical failure than a terrorist plot.

    Whatever floats your boat.

I don't hate the country, nor did I receive a BCD.
