The Hill: Rep. Mica: TSA standards for bomb-detection equipment out of date

They can't detect real threats, but their diaper examination & name enunciation programs appear to be progressing well.

Maintaining the noise level is an important part of the political process. :)

Mica is trying to reform the TSA: http://www.aviationweek.com/aw/gene...line=Mica Fights To Privatize His Dreaded TSA
I have written to him and of yet have not received a reply. Also on that committe is Congressman Jason Chaffetz of Utah. He's next on my letter writing list. I did get a letter from Alaska Airlines this morning telling me they will "reply to me as soon as possible". I'm not a young person - hopefully I'll live long enough to hear from them...... But the fight goes on and I'm not giving up!
