OK, I'm here. Let the ripping begin.

One thing, I will give as good as I get and I will use fact, not feelings.

Yep, its me. Sorry to all those FT folks who are going to miss me for the next few weeks, but I'm sure they will get over it fairly quickly.

Now, someone out there in TU has said that I would be "shredded" if I ever came here. How little she knows me.

Amendment 10 - Powers of the States and People.
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

It's a Schedule I drug according to the DEA/DOJ. Federal law, not state, which is why the DOJ is so upset about MM laws being passed by states. So that leaves an obvious question. If your doctor were to prescribe Heroin, would that make it legal for you to possess it?

    Why thank you sir/madam!

Heated debate 'eh? Hmm, I think I can accomodate that. I was just looking over the moderation discussion forum so please feel free to ignore that conversation request I sent. I think I get the basic feel for the place.

Personally, I kinda like this format better than {that other place}. It allows more freedom for the poster to customize their profile, and I like customized profiles.

I have a feeling that some of the folks here will not be happy at all that I found my way to this forum, but that is not my concern. I see that the folks here will be able to use the normal smarmy little pet names they like for the TSA, and I'm all for that. Bring it. I will be more than happy to topple some of the hard held theories that the folks at {that other place} grip like a relogious object in a zealots hands. It should be entertaining for all, and after all that is what we are after is it not? Entertainment? :D

BTW, I get the feeling that the post count is going to start climbing rapidly any minute now. :p

And according to the CDC, in 2008, 34,598 people committed suicide in our nation. That equates out to just about 98 people per day. Perspective is a funny little thing isn’t it.

Feel free folks, fire away! Thats why we are here, right?

But first I must ask you a question. How bad does that dead horse smell? And why are you beating it?

Lets find something new and interesting to discuss. Like the "anonymous" experience posted in the "Tell us your story" forum. Ready? You sure? OK, then its off to the races we go!

Aww Doober, what a terrible thing to say about a new user here. You should be ashamed of yourself.

And the interesting part is that after reporting LeAnne's post to the "coaches" they decided not to remove it. That gives me a strong indicator of just how far I am allowed to let my writing talents go when replying to the inane and unsupported crap that is soon to be flying.

Besides, I'm a part of the entertainment. :D

TSA has no authority to do anything about it. Its not within our realm of responsibility. We let the LEO's deal with it, even in California. So it makes this all into a moot point dosen't it.

On a side note, and I have said this before, I don't care about your stash. Honestly, I could not give a dam. But I will do my job, and reporting it to the LEO's is a part of that job (actually the supervisor's job, but still...). The best thing is to just not bring it along with you to the airport. That way the passenger does not get caught with it and I don't have report it to my supervisor. Easy.

"The Drug Enforcement Administration was created by President Richard Nixon through an Executive Order in July 1973"

Section 107 (c) of the Drug Amendments of 1962 (http://www.fda.gov/RegulatoryInform...ralFoodDrugandCosmeticActFDCAct/ucm070880.htm)

    1935 Social Security Act (http://www.ssa.gov/history/35actinx.html)

    I hope that helps.

    Thank you sir.

Sure, they can have 2, just because I am a nice guy. Then the real fun starts. This is gonna be good!

Oh, BTW, I am a former Usenet addict, so the likely hood of my "burning out" is slight at best.

You are gonna have to ask a coach, I wont discuss her errors, its not my place. Suffice to say that I was of the opinion that what she had to say was a violation of the posting policies here, such as they are.

Are you asking me to not hang around in here because its full of sociopaths? Dont worry dear, I can take care of myself just fine. But I appreciate the thought.

Or are you saying that I will drive all of you out? Gee, I hope not, I am already enjoying the conversations!

Interesting. So, I can take it (as I said in my reporting of the post) that her post is the benchmark for how low I can take the conversation? How refreshing!

Were the boxes larger than 3.4 ounces? Did you declare them to the TSO when you got to the checkpoint as exempt items? Did you tell them what or who they were for?

If not then blaming the TSO for your error is inane.

Its called reading, give it a try. The response to your query is in the link provided. If you cant follow the bouncing ball then we can just close this part of the conversation and mark it as your intentional ignorance.

Like I told BD, follow the bouncing ball. Its not all that hard if one takes the time to even try. If not, then it was your choice not to learn the answer to the question, not mine.

Only if taken out of context.

The comment was in reply to another poster who claimed something like 205 people were killed year year by TSA policies. A fanciful figure at best, an outright lie at worst.

People make choices, turn left or turn right. Get a burger or get a salad. Fly or drive. There are consequences for each and every one of the decisions we make every day, either good or bad consequences, and its becoming more and more common for people to refuse to accept responsibility for their own decisions by blaming others. Stand up like an adult, accept the responsibility, live with your decisions.

But then again, with the audience here it is not likely that I will find someone actually willing to accept responsibility for their actions. (sigh)

And you will do the same?

I love to cite things, give links, provide evidence and proof. But as indicated in another thread no one here is interested in reading the citations, the evidence, or the proof. Proof or evidence refutes their version of things, and they grip their belief's like a fisherman with a 20 pound trout on the line.

I call it intentional ignorance, because that is pretty much what it is. Many of the folks here (based on our previous conversations on other forums) refuse to learn the facts, have no interest in any proof or evidence that counters their belief's. Sad.
