    From the Sacramento Bee:

Sacramento airport applies to use private contractors for security screeners

Of course the TSA must approve the request so it is unlikely that Sacramento will be approved.

Even if it's approved, the TSA still oversees private security contractors. The TSA decrees how searches are done. The gropes don't go away.

Pistole has to be fired and someone with balls has to be put in his place, someone who will end the strip-search scanning and the gropes. But this isn't going to happen. We've crossed the Rubicon.

I don't agree that things will not change. What those creeps are doing goes against the DNA of what it means to be an American. You don't search peoples' crotches with NO cause. You don't rub peoples breasts and butts (back of the hands, back of the hands!) for NO cause (random) or insufficient cause (AIT with 60% or more false positives). You don't sexually molest people in a private hut because of a swab test that yields 100% bad results. The more gropes and the more molestations there are, the more resentments, the more screw-ups and demeaning behavior from TSA, the more resentments. This is a pot that will never stop boiling, The TSA is guaranteeing their own defeat. Like anything so pernicious and pervasive, it will take take time to wise up all those not paying attention. Yes, AFS grandma, once you have your coochie grabbed, your tune will change. Before it's over, even Rugape may turn, assuming he doesn't have a thing for feeling over men.

Obama and his cadre of thugs (including Napolitano and Pistole) have a distorted view of what governance is: basically rule by force because "they know better" what's good for us. It's looking like next year will bring new faces, perhaps ones less willing to sexually molest the public.

Now that you brought up Rugape...I wonder. Did he ever comment about Jon's video on getting metalic objects past the AIT machines?

Seems Rugage has stop commenting on TSA story threads. How can he or anyone else try defending what TSA is doing?

I merely comment on things that I can be open about. Many times an issue boils down to SSI or some such, and if that is the case you all know what my comments will have to be. Sooooo, instead of sounding like a broken record or stating something without having the ability to disclose the information to back up the claim, I simply refrain from commenting.

I could tell y'all about why its reasonable to touch your crotches, breasts, and butt at the gate, after clearing security, or at random at the checkpoint, despite normal human expectations of decency and the guarantees of our constitution, but it's TOP SECRET, bless ma soul. It's TOP SECRET whys we need full access to your body without cause.

Any criminal that ever was would love to have this gem to excuse themselves with. Last refuge of scoundrels. Nice try, Rugape, but we're not buying it. You have a greater share in the responsibility for these wicked and unjust acts because you defend them.

I hope. I wish. I wish I could believe this. But as we've discussed a thousand times by now, even people who know exactly what's going on are in denial. I'm sorry, but the "American" thing doesn't fly. I don't believe that any people anywhere in the world, as a whole, think it's okay that they be molested. But a subset of people, even if theoretically they don't agree with it, will still go along with it. This is how fascism happens. This is how it's always happened. And we're no different in the U.S.
