Same Sex Patdown

    If screeners are segregated by sex, then why? Presumptively so there is not a sexual issue with the contact involved. Except, of course, that sex gender does not equal sexual orientation.

    TSA's lax hiring standards provide an unusual opportunity for any same sex predators lurking among its screeners. I guarantee the unseen SOP doesn't address this patdown issue, just showing more negligence on the part of the TSA. They've already acknowledged a conflict by avoiding opposite sex patdowns, having sexualized travel with procedures that grope beyond the standard Terry stop, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terry_v._Ohio, as if lack of cause were not bad enough.
