Seattle airport disrupted by security breach

    Surprisingly, it wasn't Newark this time.

    20 outbound and 17 inbound Alaska flights (extra) delayed as a result. No sympathy for the situation in KOMO comments.^

    OK, I understand that doors need to be used as emergency egress routes but can't exits be locked to prevent reverse flow traffic either mechanically or electronically? This seems to be a problem that pops up every so often and TSA is clearly not able to deal with the issue.

    The only issue the TSA has proven capable of dealing with is "making sure that people who entirely lack marketable skills are employed to pretend to be 'security' personnel."

    This was the lead story on the 11 pm news last night and not one passenger they interviewed was irate. Surely some of them were angry as (expletive deleted) but apparently they weren't the ones chosen for a comment.

    The sewer main media knows what will happen if they put irate travelers on camera.
