Fresh from Chaffetz's Facebook page, an article linked from USA Today, which reveals the porous "quality" of TSA-style airport "security."

In an advance report for a House subcommittee hearing tomorrow (9:30 am EST), it is revealed:

The failures listed are too numerous to repost here under The Rules. Although they won't be a shock to any of our regular readers.

Currently comments run at 38, and only 2 support TSA. Tide is turning...

Did some research, this is what I found:

The House subcommittee on National Security, Homeland Defense and Foreign Operations convenes 7/13 for "TSA Oversight Part 2: Airport Perimeter Security". Pistole is not on the invite list. However, testimony is expected from the former head of security for TLV, and Jerry Orr, airport director for CLT, which apparently allows for easy access to the wheel wells of jetliners.

This hearing appears to be the promised "Part 2" from the "Part 1" about whole body imaging scanners in March, at which delicate TSA flowers took offense to being able to sit next to their detractors.

Seriously, will someone disband this band of idiots already?

I don't see an obvious link where the hearing will be available for streaming, or archived. If anyone is able to find it, please post.

They have got to be the biggest group of thumbsucking, bedwetting, whining babies I have ever seen.

And that's saying something: I used to take high-level calls from high level FFs. ;)

It seems all this agency knows how to do is retaliate and intimidate.

It's time for them to go.
