There had been rumblings on the Ron Paul blogs asking where this was earlier this week. Doubtful that it will get anywhere but it's a good shot at TSA. http://paul.senate.gov/?p=press_release&id=549
Red Alert Politics: Rand Paul files bills that take aim at TSA Original longer version of article ... Politico: Rand Paul files bills that take aim at TSA
Yeah, when I read his list of rights, it seemed like a list of our rights as to how we get groped and scanned. Better than nothing, I guess, but I still don't want to fly. I'm sad about Rand Paul. I think somebody got to him.
I really don't understand how people can come out swinging against TSA, and then come up with some limp noodle nonsense like this. What do these TSA "people" do behind the scenes that causes these reactions? Becky hits the nail square on the head again. What good is it to say how we can be groped? And who gives a flip about going through a gd scanner multiple times? The whole point is the damn things don't work. They don't work at all. They're junk.
Not that I consider InfoWars to be "reliable," but this makes for an interesting read: http://www.infowars.com/rand-paul-a-neocon-in-libertarian-clothing/ "In 2010, Rand Paul courted the neocon wing of the Republican Party. His “pilgrimage” to the heart of darkness should have set-off alarm bells in both the Tea Party and libertarian movements, but it was more or less glossed over."
