Not sure what to make of this. Doesn't seem that a Securitas type rent-a-cop would get explosives training. Then again, I'm not sure why a TSA worker would get explosives training except maybe as test subject.

In knowing what to look for, perhaps they might also infer some assembly suggestions?

Given that the average TSA employee can't even remember the "Photography is not prohibited" portion of their so-called "training," I have a hard time believing that this person "learned" anything while "working" for the TSA.

Think this guy was a rent a cop or other security worker, not TSA.

Yeah, I meant that Rugape/West/GSOLTSO works/worked at Piedmont-Triad (GSO) airport.

...which tends to support my opinion of the TSA "employees."

I don't think we should bash TSA workers every day. How 'bout we lay off on February 30?

I got a better idea. How 'bout we lay THEM off tomorrow?

You forgot the quotes. ;) To date, I've never met anyone who is a TSA worker. I've met many who accept a paycheck from the TSA.

oh, they work all right. the problem is that when they're feeling fellow citizen's genitalia without cause, their work is the work of the Sonderkommando.

It appears that stories of my demise are greatly exaggerated! I did not remember this guy Russell, he is not remembered by any of my co-workers either (to include some management members). If he worked for us, he didn't do so long or it was before I got here. Most likely he worked for the security company contracted out for different areas here - Wackenhut used to do some of it, but I have not seen them (due to scheduling) for about a year (so I am not familiar with the people that work for them now, or even if Wackenhut is still holder of the contracts). Still, it is creepy to hear about.

Another point, this article was originally dated from 2002 (I think), so this appears to be a recycling headline system (laik they have at several outlets). This happens a lot at small to medium sized newsies, they pick something from 10 years ago and repub it, it helps to keep the readership up and sensationalize things.

irritating. there's a enough bad news that's news without dredging up history. I think 2010 is a fair cut-off point though, that being the start of the John "molester" Pistole regime's changes.
