This has been all over the news, even the mainstream news. Yet where's Pistole's response? Where's his fatuous, insincere apology? "That shouldn't have happened. This will never happen again. Come to Washington on my dime and I'll give you an ice cream cone and make sure a photo op goes along with it." Blah blah blah.

Even more, where's the outrage? The naysayers, deniers, and know-nothings are either defending the TSA or curiously quiet.

TSA has had time to officially respond to this incident and all I find is silence. If the incident played out as I have read we have TSA screeners verbally abusing a young child, a form of child abuse. We have TSA screeners calling people "suspects" which clearly creates a confrontational environment. We have TSA employees who have such poor skills in personal interaction that they offend pretty much the whole world.

TSA may claim that proper procedures were followed, if so then I say the procedures are wrong, the TSA employees are wrong, the screening process is wrong, and TSA IS WRONG!!

    Don't you mean gone Pistole?
  4. One more thing they did wrong -- they identified "criminal suspects" and yet as far as I can tell from the story, they failed to call law enforcement. Isn't that Rugape's big thing? Suspect a crime, call law enforcement immediately. So these criminal suspects were running amok (again,) and it sounds like all they threatened to do was eject them from the airport.

    And seriously: TSA has responded.

The response was that "proper procedure was followed".

It is apparently proper procedure to be an idiot, an abusive a*hole, and an all-around douche when you're TSA. Good to know.

That's because they're not real cops, and they're only able to issue punitive gropes for things that aren't real crimes.

The problem is a TSA employee characterizing a person, any person, as a suspect. That tells me they see themselves in a police type role, not a security screener role. This is clear evidence of a severe problem. TSA is either promoting or allowing an atmosphere of abuse and confrontation at TSA checkpoints.

Can't wait till Bloghdad Bob weighs in. The 5th grader the other day, this little girl today. Or do you think he'll just do a Puppy Post instead?

By the way, Kip Hawley is now following TSA News on Twitter. Ya think he's following TUG as well (I don't know if we tweet, but I'm sure he or his minions are reading these threads).

He will say that TSA treats everyone with respect, TSA screeners did no wrong, TSA is keeping travelers safe. Of course nothing he says will bear any resemblance to the truth.

Maybe he'll post the picture of the Scary Dangerous 4-year-old in her pretty princess costume. After all, she's carrying a wand. That could be a weapon! It has a glittery star on top with sharp points!

And WHERE (WHEN) did this blue glover see this gun filled teddy bear? in a hollywood movie? In a propaganda training illustration?

If they had actually found a teddy bear with a gun, they would have filled the media with the "news."

I'd like to point out that convicted prisoners in max security centers do not wear such a device.

And it set a dangerous precedence for excuse to use in general public.

    From the blog:

I have an idea that a picture of that teddy bear with a gun inside is shown during "training."

In other words, they never once found one in REAL LIFE.
  16. Once again, though -- there wasn't even a teddy bear involved here, nor anything like it in which a gun could be concealed. This was all fantasy on the part of the screener, who probably hoped she'd come out of it looking like a cinematic action hero. Joke's on her, though -- instead of an hero, she comes out a child abuser.

Montana lawmaker is furious after the four year old daughter of one of his constituents was labeled a “high security threat” when the child hugged her grandmother at a security checkpoint at Wichita Mid-Continent Airport.

Michelle Brademeyer, of Missoula, Mon., wrote about the incident on her Facebook page alleging TSA officers called for backup after her daughter would not stop crying and at one point was ordered to spread her legs.

Rep. Denny Rehberg (R-MT) told Fox News that he is outraged over the four-year-old’s treatment.

“Something is clearly very wrong if TSA’s protocol forced them to harass a four-year-old girl until she cried,” Rehberg said. “I intend to sit down with the TSA immediately and demand some answers.”

Rehberg do one better call for pissys head on a platter as well as this (expletive deleted), other asses involved, asses supervisor, TSM, AFSD, FSD as well. Anything less then that, your just another spineless politician.

Going Pistole on them would leave a bunch of smurfs with sore orifices. In an earlier era, it might have been called "mass buggery".

Going Postal leaves a bunch of the (expletive deleted) dead.
