This Is Getting Amazing.

Although I don't post on FT anymore, I occasionaly read some of the latest posts. Since FT has crawled into bed with the TSA, I've noticed quite a large number of comments are being answered by TSA employees.

My God!!!! I'm having a hard time grasping this!!

Every single post looks like it was written by a 3 year old. Spelling, Grammar, and overall structure of the posts are deplorable! We're being kept "Safe" by a group of uneducated morons who can't even spell "SAFE".

This *must* spill over into their daily reports while on the job. Someone, at DHS *must* notice this. It would be funny, if it wern't not so sad. I would love to see copies of their daily reports.

What makes you think that anyone at DHS who is capable of noticing has the requisite character to act on such information?

The ones that are smart enough to notice are also the ones who want to insure that their front-liners are either stupid enough to believe in the TSA's "mission," or malicious enough to enjoy doing what they're told.

I would venture that not only does it spill over into their daily reports but also into their actions at the checkpoint. While a spelling or grammar error once in a while is nothing to get excited about, this new poster, who claims a higher ed degree, is just plain sloppy - and it such sloppiness does show up in all aspects of one's life.

On another topic, our friend Ronnie is simply refusing to acknowledge that the TSA screwed up big time in Fayetteville, coming up with all sorts of fanciful explanations as to why Atwater did not have the C4 with him when he left NC - and he is yet again being blown out of the water. :D

The way Ronnie came on the scene a while back on a number of forums, I'm wondering if he may be the front runner for secondary "Damage Control". If you read comments on the TSA Blog, it proves that Bob is nothing but a blowhard, and his effectiveness is crashing.

When I read Bob's rubbish, it reminds me of the WWII stories my Dad used to tell me about "Tokyo Rose". Then My mind drifts to my early school days "Cold War" Propiganda, and the "Duck & Cover" milarky. I suppose every generation gets its share.

Though painful to read, that thread is both enlightening and hilarious at the same time.

I'm not sure why people even bother to post there anymore.

Ever since Cholula put Blogger Bob, TSA's propaganda minister, up on a pedestal and disallowed any further criticism of him, I've considered that board irrelevant. Their policy & practice has been to suspend and lock out (sometimes they just quietly eliminate your access to that specific forum :D) TSA's critics while they protect TSA's thugs and propagandists.

Meanwhile the public image of DHS and especially TSA continues on downward spiral.

    This.

And it is so shocking to me that they don't realize it.

How is TSA/DHS so dense as to not know how reviled they are?

I'm certain they don't care how reviled they are. It's one of the classic symptoms of both sociopaths and narcissistic personalities - of which the TSA has no shortage.

Anyone currently working for the TSA does so because they're OK with that.

  9. Does anyone else find the field trip thread terribly unsettling? It's complete propaganda, I bet he's getting paid to write it, and yet people are falling for it. I really don't like the "I'll be polite and southern while I trample on your rights" approach. Screw that. You're still following orders and strip searching people, and that makes you a loser in my book.

I'm pretty sure that makes them a loser. Period.

(I really don't care what one TSA screener's opinion is of another TSA screener. Any rational person knows that "just following orders" went out of vogue as an excuse at Nuremburg.)

I respect HSVTSODean's observations/opinions. He seems like an intellegent, personable guy who is obviously overqualified for his job. I also respect the fact that he is willing to share information about his training with the flying public (to the extent that he isn't giving away any information classified as Silly Squirrel-(expletive deleted) Inanity ), but if I were still posting on that thread, I would have some pretty bad news for him: I WILL STILL OPT OUT OF THE STRIP-SEARCH MACHINES; I DON'T CARE IF THEY HAVE THE GUMBY-IMAGE VIEWER OR NOT!!!

I have traveled through HSV because my dad lives in Scottsboro, AL, and I might have an occasion to go through there at some time in the future. It used to be a very pleasant checkpoint without the MMW scanners, but I bet it is going to be a bloody bottleneck when they are busy, no matter how giddy he is about them. But alas, the sheeple will probably just line up without protest to be hearded through them as if the Gooberment has a right to peer underneath our clothing </deep heavy sigh>!

And yet for some reason, he chooses to continue his "employment" with the TSA instead of seeking an honest job.

I have no respect for anyone who chooses to include the acronym "TSO" in a login ID or an "employment" designation. I do, however, bear enormous contempt for such.

  14. Yeah, I used to appreciate his input. That thread was so creepy he's now on the creepy list for me.

By continuing to patronize them, you're only validating their abusive forum management. Some of your favorite mods have actually expressed their amusement at how people declare themselves "refugees" here while they continue to bend over "over there".

Given their policy of sucking up to TSA, Bearcat06 fits right in. I'd much rather just sit back & take in the entertainment.

This is important. The only way to penetrate the supercilious vanity of a narcissist is to decline all contact publicly and consistently - until an apology occurs or (expletive deleted) freezes over - whichever occurs first.

Yup. Just left FT because of nasty mod talking to me like I'm 2 years old, reprimanding me for pointing out how idiotic that TSA sounds. And how angry that mod was! And disrespectful! I guess it's not OK to protest the GOONS who have the right to molest us but it is OK to talk to FT'ers that way.

Funny how FT thinks we need them desperately, and that they have the right to talk to us like that. Um, FT needs us, not the other way around. Kudos for making me leave. One literate traveler gone. Now you're left with can't-spell-oh-so-edjicated-TSAer, hahaha. Too funny.

What's this business about FT and the TSA having some shared interests? I'm not familiar at all with the business side of FT. Would someone care to explain this?

I still post there, just not as much as I do here. I don't approve of their mods nor their moderation policy as it tilts to support the pervs of the TSA.
