Thousands of items 'voluntarily abandoned' at SeaTac Airport

    I wonder what they do when pax are trained martial artists. "Yeah, I have a weapon. I call it 'me' and you can't have it."

    They deny access to their "magical fairy fartland" (as you call it, they call it the "sterile area"). That's the only way they can confiscate your Kung-(expletive deleted), I suppose. ;)

    I always travel with a chainsaw on my key chain. You never know when you might need that in Cascadia. Could that be a problem?

    I carried something kinda like that in my survival vest back in my Navy flying days. It was an small diameter flexible cable impregnated with a cutting abrasive with loops for handles on each end. I could cut a small tree down in seconds with it. Since we flew over water mostly not sure where I planned on using it but I had that and several other goodies not issued as standard equipment.
