STAMFORD -- A Transportation Security Administration screener at John F. Kennedy International Airport was arraigned at state Superior Court in Stamford Monday for allegedly striking his 75-year-old mother a day after he was charged with harassing and threatening his psychiatrist.
Christopher Wilkie, 43, of 210 Shore Road, Long Beach, N.Y., was charged with third-degree assault on a person over 60, second-degree harassment, second-degree threatening and two counts of breach of peace.

Wilkie was arrested just down the street from his mother's home on MacGregor Drive after a witness saw him assaulting his mother in a car on Saturday at about 2 p.m., his court files show.
He was also arrested Friday after police obtained a warrant for his arrest following a troubling incident in his psychiatrist's Summer Street parking garage.

They hire scum so low that they beat on their elderly mothers.

And they wonder why we have "issues" with these creeps in the airports?

Regarding the incident with shrink, from the link above:

According to his arrest warrant affidavit, Wilkie was waiting when his psychiatrist pulled into his office at about 6:30 a.m. on Dec. 26. An agitated Wilkie, who had a 7 a.m. appointment with the psychiatrist, nearly pulled him out of his car window by his shirt, saying, "You are out to get me. I will get you and your daughter. In another situation I would have killed you. My people are coming to give you your instructions tomorrow," the warrant states.

Wilkie drove off and his psychiatrist called police to report the incident. In videos, Wilkie can be seen using shirts to cover three surveillance cameras in the parking garage before the attack, the warrant said. They also show Wilkie taping a note to his psychiatrist's door, saying "I am on to you, you (expletive deleted) punk."

Later that day, Wilkie made seven phone calls to the psychiatrist's office, making harassing and threatening statements to the staff, the warrant said.

The psychiatrist said he has been seeing Wilkie for 10 years without problem. But that morning he appeared to be "whacked out on something," the psychiatrist surmised.
    Anyone for armed TSO's?
Supervisory Assistant State's Attorney Steven Weiss said Wilkie has been a TSA screener for nine years and he was concerned because Wilkie had reportedly been planning on getting a gun.

If he'd only had that Newark-based training session he would have never attacked his mother or doctor.

Whether the nine-year veteran TSO was on something or off something, I'm sure there's quite a collection of 'lost or surrendered' pills to choose from at the JFK breakroom.

Nine years in the TSA? It should have been obvious that there's something mentally wrong with him.

Until one of them is charged with harrassment and assault for his/her behavior at a checkpoint, nothing's changed.

Love the headline at the Post ...

NY Post: ‘Psycho’ JFK screener busted

TSA screener Christopher Wilkie would seem to be a walking time bomb.
The 43-year-old was arraigned in court yesterday in Connecticut for allegedly hitting his 75-year-old mother. This came a day after he was charged with a different crime — harassing and threatening his psychiatrist. Wilkie is a TSA agent at JFK International Airport in New York.
According to his arrest warrant affidavit, Wilkie was waiting when his psychiatrist pulled into his office at about 6:30 a.m. on Dec. 26. An agitated Wilkie, who had a 7 a.m. appointment with the psychiatrist, nearly pulled him out of his car window by his shirt, saying, “You are out to get me. I will get you and your daughter. In another situation I would have killed you. My people are coming to give you your instructions tomorrow,” the warrant states.

And see what else Wilkie might’ve been up to:
Supervisory Assistant State’s Attorney Steven Weiss said Wilkie has been a TSA screener for nine years and he was concerned because Wilkie had reportedly been planning on getting a gun.
Obviously, it sounds like this man has serious mental problems, and I hope he gets help for them. This post isn’t to make fun of those problems. The point is to ask, again, from whom are we more in danger at the airport, John and Jane Q. Citizen, or TSA agents?

Another example of the "highest standards" at TSA.

The scary part is that they have a mentally ill man screening passengers and in the event of a dispute, the police and courts will favor his statements over a rational, stable individual.

Makes one wonder how many people this nut job has harassed and gotten way with it.

Why didn't the Behavior Detection voodoo practitioners at JFK notice something was wrong with a fellow employee that they see every day?

Oh, yeah. It's junk voodoo science.

Exactly. It's not science, though. Nor voodoo.

It's just junk, intended to make the gullible believe that their gubbermint really cares about them while insuring the employment of a pack of thieves, thugs, and dolts who're unqualified for any form of real work.

Speaks volumes about the quality of TSA's hiring standards. Or perhaps this is the type they seek. Can you imagine that this whacko was screening passengers the day before?

I sent to several news outlets including Drudge & Infowars so we'll see if gets to the mainstream.

I've read about this bozo before. Do we already have a thread on him, or did we just learn that he is one of TSA's best & brightest?

Did he actually hit his mother, or just perform a "resolution grope-down?"

I'm sure he is a caring and concerned TSA employee just trying to make a difference.
