NBC Connecticut: TSA Agent Flashed Badge at Slow Driver: Cops -- He said he just wanted her to drive faster

The TSA agent was Donald Eichler, 63, of South Windsor, CT.

 

A woman called 911 around 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday and reported that a man was following her car very closely and flashing a badge at her, police said.

Eichler later said he did show his TSA badge to the woman so she would speed up.

"I just wanted her to do the speed limit. Just come on let's go. I had people crawling up my back, beeping their horns I mean what can I do, wasn't trying to be a policeman," he said.

So why did you flash your badge?

It could be a violation of TSA rules, and he has notified his superiors about the incident.
