    TSA agent pleads guilty to a felony assault

    A Transportation Security Administration agent who worked as an airport screener pleaded guilty to a felony assault in the shooting of her boyfriend during a night of drinking at their Watertown home. Although Wendy Santos, 35, pleaded guilty to first-degree assault, she may be spared prison time as part of a plea deal obtained Monday.

    Watertown Police Announce Recent Arrests

    Wendy Santos, 34, of 109 Buckingham Street in Oakville, was arrested on Monday, February 10, on the charges of first-degree assault, unlawful discharge of a firearms, first-degree reckless endangerment, risk of injury to a minor and second-degree breach of peace. She was detained on a $150,000 bond, with a court date of February 10.

    Woman faces felony after boyfriend shot in Watertown
    Suspect works as TSA screener


    A Transportation Security Administration agent who works as an airport screener was arrested Sunday night after witnesses told police she shot her boyfriend during a night of drinking in their home. Wendy Santos, who is facing a felony first-degree assault charge, told police the 9 mm Glock handgun used in the shooting went off during a struggle with her boyfriend.
