What really gets me is that my mom & her husband are planning on taking a cruise this spring, which means flying to the seaport. She's slowly been coming around as I've been keeping her updated on TSA's misdeeds but she's a true optimist and still somewhat in denial. I really don't like the thought of her being among the "one grope at a time" statistic but I think it may well come to that. Most likely it's going to be a case of a "resolution" grope after she gets scanned, which is going to shatter that denial because she is the kind of person who thinks "cooperate and everything's fine." This will last exactly as long as, like Lisa said, it hasn't happened to her. Getting groped in spite of saying OK to scanning should be able to hammer home just how capricious and corrupt every TSA employee really is. What sucks is that it'll put me in the perfect position to say "I told you so." And that'll be a day when I won't want to.
