Honolulu Star Advertiser: TSA fires 36 Honolulu Airport workers, suspends 12 others

I'm dumbfounded -- are they actually doing something right for a change? That's a good start.

They are even canning HNL's Federal Security Director (FSD) and his assistant.

If only this behavior could be repeated at some other US stations! ;)

Nico stated he could not name who was fired but he did specify the FSD and ASFD. Isn't that pretty much naming those two?

Amazingly, all of that baggage went unscreened, and yet not a single plane was blown out of the sky.

    Interesting...

Of course the usual party line out of Pistole, however the newly established Office of Professional Responsibility??? Since when and it will be interesting to see how objective they are.

And they still can't train their employees to accept NEXUS cards

Yeah like the TSA knows anything about being professional or responsible.
