Nice comment from the traveler in the MSNBC story on the cupcake:
The flyer is a Communications professor. Hopefully this is not the last we hear about TSA's stupid from this well-spoken traveler.

Would that millions of know-nothings out there come to the same conclusion.

Oh, well. A gal can dream.

Christopher Elliott gives us a recap of this -- and other -- cake crime. Seems the TSA just can't keep its hands off your private parts or your holiday goodies.

Fox News had the suspected cupcake terrorist on their morning show this morning for an interview. Seems the bakery, Wicked Good Cupcakes, has renamed their cupcake, something like the National Security Cupcake, don't exactly remember the name it was given.

Need to redesign the TSA Badge to look like a cupcake but I have no graphic skills.

I think what really needs to be focused on is that Epps is a TSA supervisor. If TSA's supervisors are this capable what can we expect from the other TSA Sky Caps?

Unlike the TSA's morons and thugs, skycaps actually perform a useful and desired service.

Please don't insult them by comparing them to the TSA's blue-shirted cockroaches.

You are absolutely correct and I apologize to all Sky Caps I have offended.

I cannot think of any occasion that I have had nothing short of excellent service from a Sky Cap unlike the TSA thugs that have tried to steal from me, verbally threatened me, and in general are just a couple of steps below the amoebas on the scale of life forms.

By the way, some words of wisdom when we need a bit of inspiration (thanks to Sibel Edmonds):

"It does not require a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires in people's minds"

Cockroaches? They're at least six steps down on the evolutionary chart from cockroaches.

Some person posting as "TSM" on the TSA Blog is saying the cupcake should have been kept out of the secure area.

So now we have it from a higher source than a TSO, TSA believes cupcakes are equivalent to IED's.

Now if TSM is correct in what they have stated, and TSA has not issued any corrections, then Boston TSA, where the cupcake did clear security, endangered everyone in that terminal and flight by allowing a potential IED to clear security. I would think that the TSA employees at Boston should receive severe discipline if they failed in their duties.

The way I see it TSA either must admit that TSA in Boston failed or that cupcakes such as this one are not prohibited as claimed by Propaganda Village poster TSM.

Here is this TSA employees comment:

    I'm wondering what kind of reaction I would get by placing a large label on my carry-on stating;
"This case is NOT carrying any Cupcakes or Cupcake like material"

They'd probably put it through the "extra special in-depth screening" and cut the lining out just to make sure.

You need to start with the NSFW cupcake found in the Fark comments.

Best comment on Fark thus far:
