Tell me again why U.S. Citizens must surrender their 4th amendment rights and be irradiated, ripped off, unlawfully detained, and sexually assaulted in order to get on board an aircraft. Talk slow. Use small words. I'm still not getting it.

Apparently it's because the average American citizen wants to believe that being treated like a criminal makes them less likely to be blown up by scary brown people.

Of course, they're almost infinitely more likely to be molested by, stolen from, or yelled at by one of Pistole's Perverts than be affected in the slightest by someone who wants to do Bad Things to the aircraft.

Because it's all about the appearance of security and not about security itself. Not catching the terrorists as they slip through your hands doesn't make very interesting security theater, so they grope you to make up for it.

If TSA was about doing real security then all cargo loaded aboard commercial passenger aircraft would be screened. Aircraft servicing trucks would be screened but these things are out of sight of the public so offer TSA no opportunity to "show" how aggressively the "War on Terror" is being fought.

No, what people see is TSA employees feeling up little Johnny and Sally. That is Security TSA style!
