This time a boy around 6.
This is disgusting. We are grooming an entire generation to accept this kind of abuse as normal.
This country has lost its collective mind.
There isn't any "patting" going on here at all. The groper is grabbing the arms and legs of the child and moving up and down each in the front and the back of the child without breaking contact with the child's body.
"Pat down" is simply another TSA lie.
And did you see the smiles on the faces of a couple of passengers who passed by the boy as he was sitting in the chair? They looked at him, smiled, then moved on. What, they think it's cute that this little boy was singled out for a search??
Well, at least somebody cared enough to get the video, that at least is a hopeful sign.
Her royal highness at TS/S has moved all the videos the Bill posted over there this a.m. Don't you feel honored, Bill?
SATTSO got involved in the child grope discussion, playing his usual word games, and the discussion went down hill from there.
ETA: apparently she moved them all to one thread in TS/S which Bill started back in July.
Semantics. Grrrrr. There is a time and place to play word games. The checkpoint isn't one of them. IMHO SATTSO just continues digging the hole TSA currently finds itself in, deeper and deeper while contributing little to the issues at hand.
From my post there:
SATTSO's own words:
You did not receive this pat-down for alarming the WTMD. You received this pat-down for refusing the WTMD. This pat-down is now used for those who refuse the WBI (thus those who refuse the WBI will NOT have their genitals patted down - though back of the hands will come very close, and as I said this is NOT new).
Question for TSO's
Someone is talking out of both sides of his/her mouth.
The Transportation Safety Agency (TSA) claims security reasons for not revealing all of the details of the search technique, but there are videos and descriptions. Called the "slide technique", this new search involves: sliding hands over shoulders, flanks, abdomen, around legs.Hand pivots near crotch area with back of hand brushing crotch and genitalia. There are no distinctions for men, women or children that were given.
The helium quote came, I believe, before Pissy promised revised pat downs for kids.
Can I mine FT for my own posts?
The gropes were always intended to be punitive, and now we have it from the horse's mouth.
It must have been the loose-fitting clothing.
Wondering if TSA employees who grope children get a complimentary membership in MANBLA?
Along with free copies of "Lolita" and lifetime memberships in the Roman Polanski fan club.
Gosh, that's harsh!
All part of the Big Lie. I every video they are rubbing the victim, yet the media doesn't challenge them on the term "pat down", despite, as uou say, there is no patting involved. In High School I think they called this second base.
TSA simply keeps repeating the same lies and incredibly many of our brain dead citizens willingly accept it.
Perhaps another tshirt in the making?
My screener always takes me to second base
That's why over 90% of my forum time is now spent here and why I include the TUG link in my article comments. I did get a PM on it explaining that the idea was to consolidate similar content. Fair enough, but my reason for the multiple posts was that they had different content, i.e. one of a child, one of an adult and an interview of a gate rape victim and I though the discussions would get confused with readers commenting on three different videos.
My main objective in posting these is to disseminate the information and I rarely engage in the protracted arguments with SATTSO and other screeners or apologists at the other place. It often does seem to border on bickering and is just more or less of a repeat of other threads over the year. At least Bart, the GSO TSO and a few other TSA employees have offered some real information, within their disclosure limits, and attempted to present their arguments in a rational fashion.
BTW, I thought it was funny that the video of the 6 year old girl at MSY that I posted in April was kept separate. I guess child gropings are yesterday's news these days.
Those responses regarding the groping procedure are pretty incriminating if they could be documented. Even a TSO in uniform caught on video would do it.
Do these do the trick?
I couldn't say for sure about the hand in the crotch, but I did see a cop getting a eyeful of a some woman on 14 y/o girl action.
Here's an experiment for those who wish to try:
Gentlemen, ask your wife/partner to assume the position and then from a kneeling position in front, place your hand at the inside top of her thigh so that your fingers are in the same position as seen in the picture and then ask her where your thumb is.
Ladies, you can do the same with your husband/partner.
The 14-year old in the picture is not a big person but the screener is, as someone called her "Large Marge" - you can bet part of her hand was in the girl's crotch.
Separate names with a comma.
