TSA to open PreCheck to all for a fee

    Is this for real? Random selection of people for Pre-Check? If ever a program has lost focus, it is this one.

    That depends on what you thought its "focus" was. "Security" was never the TSA's focus. The "illusion of security" was.

    Some years ago while in Vegas we went to the David Copperfield show. It was the last night of his run and to be blunt the show was poorly executed, and I mean poorly.

    That is what I compare TSA's illusion of security to.

    I'd consider even the most poorly-run Copperfield show to be several orders of magnitude higher in any value than anything any TSA employee has managed to pull off in their miserable lives.
