More Divide and Conquer. More MAYBE you won't get abused.
This doesn't even make much sense. It seems like seniors are particularly harassed for things like wheelchairs, adult diapers, ostomy bags, etc. None of this will alleviate those problems. Looks like a PR attempt without any substance.
Wow, Sari still has a job after last week??
This just proves that what they are doing is not necessary at all. I've already contacted the dolts in Washington regarding this report. Below is my message, word for word.
Isn't age discrimination by government illegal? Shouldn't I be treated just like any other person if age is the only qualifier?
I think they're all hunkering down for the long haul.
This is just fluff from AGITPROP to distract attention from Jon's video.
Are they really saying that they'll quit doing what they already denied that they were doing?
Brilliant. This in itself should be a bumper sticker.
Quite true, which is why I also continue to hammer on my reps that the TSA continues to lie to America about nearly everything. No honesty at all from this demented organization, so they can't be trusted for anything.
I get the feeling you'll be getting "Your letter is very important to us, thank you for submitting your letter...."
But the old folks who can't stand up, cant' assume the position, wear incontinence products or medical assist devices will still get the whole shebang. What percentage of old folks is that? 50%?
So the TSA determines passengers over 75 are less of a risk, so they'll make more use of a technology that works (Explosive Trace Detection) on them? Enjoy your flight to Bizarro World.
Another dirty little secret is that creating all these exemptions for expedited screening frees up TSA resources to do Gate Gropes and other Shows Of Force Farce such as VIPR Team deployments.
Q: How can you tell a TSA employee is lying?
A: Res ipsa loquitur.
When I do get responses, I get the following emails from the reps (the wording has changed a little since early 2011). In fact, in one day, I received the first response below 6 times in a 1 minute span, from a supposed one time Marine Senator Pat Roberts. I consider him to be the worst of the bunch because he served in the military.
I also get phone calls from the staffers wanting to talk about the the issue. Two things though, 1. they obviously call in the middle of the day when I'm not home, and 2. They will only be allowed to relay the talking points provided them from whichever representative, so talking to them is absolutely pointless. I don't care one lick about their talking points. So until Pat Roberts, Jerry Moran and Kevin Yoder really want to discuss the issues and work on change, the (expletive deleted) can go fly a kite and keep their lobbying money. It must be nice to buy elected representatives.
Anybody up for retrieving links where they they were justifying groping children and the elderly by stating that "terrorists have used children and the elderly". Lisa may be able to use a few of these in a follow up at TSA News.
I recall that being the familiar refrain from Pissy and Nappy back in 2010 when they were being grilled daily on the groping. I'm certain there are tons of sound bites out there (and probably in my own archive) where they fed the sheeple this pablum.
Well, I posted an absolutely brilliant post on this subject, but put it in the wrong thread. Talk about getting old. So here it is again:
Barbell, thank you kindly for liking it and not pointing out that it was in the wrong thread.
That's the first thing I thought of. They made outlandish statements about how they had to root around in Grannie's diaper and juggle Grandpa's testicles because the elderly might be exploited by terrorists. The theory was that the oblivious elderly victim would have a full load of C-4 in their Depends or a walker full of bomb making materials.
They terrorized the elderly for over a year, and now suddenly they admit the elderly never were a threat. When are these azzclowns going to admit the obvious: none of us are a threat, including the people the TSA labels as "high risk." It's all bull-feathers!
That is a false dichotomy, Congressman.
Separate names with a comma.
