That was the headline on KIRO TV news at 11 pm today. Apparently in the last few months over $250,000 worth of items have been "lost" (that's the word the reporter used) at Seatac Airport in Seattle. According to the report the TSA has paid out only $37,000 in claims. Supposedly there is an investigation going on. Well, good luck with that. The link will take you to a pdf file with the list of the missing items.

Monica47, I couldn't locate the link to the original story, Who is investigating? I did see from a list of KIRO stories that way back in 2005 SeaTac was third highest in thefts or theft rate.
Yet the first item on the list only goes back to 2011. Did they not even keep track before then??? Not that I'm surprised.

There wasn't a link to the story - just a PDF file listing items stolen. If there is a list going back to previous years I haven't been able to find it. I cannot find any info regarding who is doing the investigating.
