Does anyone actually believe this? Where are the privacy disclosures?

"Foundered a bit?" Are you kidding me? One of the things DHS/TSA wanted to do was a credit check on each and every passenger. Because no, that's not a problem, people won't mind their credit scores going down each time the TSA pulls a credit report. We we able to shoot that plan down though.

And if Secure Flight is so great and works so well, why are they still groping people? Secure Flight matched to other databases should give TSA a pretty good picture of the passenger.

    I'm just being sarcastic. :)

P.S. I'm back to good internet access!!!

Laws are for little people. Here at DHS we are above reproach. We daily violate nearly every law, rule, regulation, and moral code of coduct in our (feeble) attempt at doing the impossible: making airtravel 100% safe.:mad::eek::td:

Sure. Until some hackers breach that system as well. They should talk to Sony about maintaining data security before they wade into these waters. What is laughable is that these promises are coming from the same agency whose incompetence leaked their own SSI two years ago.

That and the personal information of their own employees. IOW they couldn't secure their own private data.
