TSA's Strip Searches of 3 Elderly Women Should Be Last Straw

Comment I left at that ABC story. I am so fed up with these people:

The TSA is a criminal, out-of-control agency that abuses people with impunity. But nothing will change until the United Sheeple of America stand up and demand that it change. The number of morons posting all over the blogosphere defending this criminal agency -- and actually minimizing the sexual assault of their fellow citizens -- is stupefying. If they represent the majority, then this country is getting exactly what it deserves.

My first comments would be "and where did you go to medical school? I hope you are aware its a Felony to practice medicine without a license!"

As a healthcare professional its acts like this that make my blood boil. This isnt the only issue, but smurfs need to start going to jail for acts like this. let them explain it to the judge "Im just doing my job"... it wont fly, and will probably put the last nail in the coffin in there case.

Please go over to that ABC story and set some of these people straight, especially the know-it-all physician called "Minorkey1" who claims that all you need is a note from your doc and you'll be treated with respect. Because, after all, he always has. And if nothing bad has ever happened to him, therefore it doesn't happen!

Every time I try to post a comment at that ABC site that points to TUG -- without a link, without a URL, which apparently isn't allowed, just with the words "Travel Underground" -- the comment doesn't appear. Or it appears for a few minutes and then is removed. I don't know what's going on with ABC's moderation over there. They're censoring comments.

Your recent comments are there. I can't even find a place to register. Maybe I'm just blind. I was going to ask you to ask Wattermellan to join us and tell us of her experiences being strip search. Also jamescbuilder who apparently has been asked to show the TSA his incontinence pad.

Try using "travelunderground dot org" - that gets through.

I am still snickering over the fact that there only 72 comments have been posted at the blog about these happenings.

Do you suppose they will ever figure out how to say "we were wrong. These women were forced to remove clothing in order to fly"?

No, several of my comments haven't appeared - every single one that points to Travel Underground, no matter how I do it. The comment appears for a minute or two, then is removed. I haven't been able to point people here because the ABC site/moderator won't let me.

I'm not even allowed to say "I don't know what's going on at this site. Every time I try to post a link directing you to the website where I've posted thousands of accounts of TSA abuse, my comment disappears."

    Even THAT comment disappears!

Somebody else needs to try to do this.

Would if I could, but the mod there (?) won't allow any comment of mine that even mentions Travel Underground to appear.

Great comments and links, all. Nice use of the word "allegedly" so as not to defame one of America's most loved agencies. ;)
