I'd be very surprised if this were true -- if the TSA agents were sacked. I doubt it. I bet they were just shunted to another position. It's easy for a U.S. diplomat to tell an Indian diplomat that they were fired; who's going to follow up on it? The Indians don't know the names of those TSA agents. Besides, this is the 3rd time this has happened (that we know of) -- that a foreign diplomat was manhandled by TSA goons.
I wonder if this could work on our favor. What makes *any* foreign traveler better than law abiding US Citizens? I get felt up by a Crotch Jockey, and they sail right through. I'd like to file charges of discrimination.
I doubt it, too.
But even if they were sacked, then there still weren't enough sackings. I haven't seen any press releases about the dissolution of the TSA, so there's still somewhere around 50,000 (according to the TSA website) that need a sacking.
no. nobody was sacked. someone "leaked" a lie to get the Indians off the TSA's back.
While y'all are disputing "sacked", I'm still struggling with the term "officials".
Official = DOD (derf on duty, dirtbag on duty)
"sacked" is the new "re-trained"
... for deviants on duty everywhere.
Why aren't Pissy and Nappy sacked for failure to make certain their underlings know and follow procedures?
Because they are deities. They act with impunity.
I haven't seen this carried on any US news outlets. Either this report is wrong, State said they'd be sacked but DHS/TSA hasn't acted or this didn't qualify as news when the story broke.
I still haven't heard why there hasn't been any questioning why State says there are separate procedure and TSA says everyone gets the same treatment. Somebody is lying.
Well rule # 1. TSA Lies.
Separate names with a comma.
