    UK Guardian: American ruling should revive body scanner debate in UK

    Reviews the recent U.S. court decision (neglects to mention that it is an appellate decision binding in only one of twelve circuits) and suggests revisiting the issue in the UK, especially the lack of an alternative to mandatory Nude-O-Scoping.

    Don't see that going very far to be perfectly frank; the UK has its own courts and Europe's to listen to...

    The EU's recdent ruling on Nude-O-Scoping is only "advisory". As far as I can see, the EU itself is imposing no restraints on the use of Nude-O-Scopes. The only safety valve is the intelligence & decency shown by some of the EU's member countries.
