I didn't ask what the number was if there is one just if there is a number in the SOP.

Both Backscatter and MMW (pre ATR) could be called old scanners. Are you trying to specify one or the other?

Maybe we're talking about 2 different women.

No, both would only get one pass. With ATR you can do multiple passes.

Like this 10 year old boy? Or was he too cute and needed an advanced grope by a blue gloved employee, who will soon be arrested as a part of a child pornography ring?

Yes, like him too. And just like the mom says in the story, he's allowed multiple passes to avoid being patted down. He could've also avoided the scanner altogether and went through the metal detector.

This is a blatant lie under current operating conditions I've encountered in several airports.

No, it isn't. 10 yr olds are totally exempt from AITs.

And yet, TSA sends them through. I've seen it with my own eyes.

I've seen it with my own eyes as well. Being exempt doesn't mean you're not allowed in the AIT. You have to opt-in.

    Nothing different.

    Just pointing out the obvious...

So the kid has to "opt-in" to being seen naked or just submit to being pawed by a blue-shirted pervert?

At this point, it should go without saying that anyone admitting to be (or claiming to be) a TSA employee in public cannot be trusted. Period.

True. But DHS trolls read these boards.

It's good for them to know that we know how stupid and untrustworthy they are. Maybe some day it will sink in to their thick skulls.

Even if it did, what makes you think they'd care?

Nobody currently working for the TSA has a conscience, which is required in order to feel shame or guilt. They're all incapable of that.

    True.

It does make me feel better, though, to get it off my chest.

If kids under 12 want to go in the AIT they have to opt-in, otherwise they go through the metal detector.

I call bullsh**. Please show us where the TSA has written that young children have to opt in to the scanner.

Only 240 grains of Trepanizine will do that.
