Marvel at TSA's own assessment of the utility (not!) of the pat-down. More fodder for rule comments...

  2. That is a pie chart put together by madmen. Would you look at that thing? The colors don't even match up.

OK, so I'm NOT as old or slow as I was beginning to think! Thank you. :)

Silly me. Looking for pat-down purple.
So, if purple is green:confused:, the pat-down is useful for finding MONEY.

  5. Except, if patdown is green, it says the patdown can't find guns and knives without metal, so that can't be right...

    So...TSA legend/pie chart is
    a) Random
    b) Secret Squirrel Information
    c) Garbage, expensively produced, and completely unhelpful (like everything else TSA)

Is this chart a belated April Fool's joke?

The fact that it looks like a pizza can't be a coincidence. Freudian slip maybe?

  8. It also says metal detectors can find media and data. Not sure what media and data they're thinking of but it seems to me there are plenty of examples of non-metallic media and data.

The pie chart is just one more example of TSA competence.

Hey, at least they're not making Star Trek parody movies, like the IRS...
