    First, as I understand it, the union cannot really do anything about pay issues so they're just blowing smoke.

    As for police reports and screener assaults, that tells me that being a TSA employee these days can be an unpleasant experience. Now just how can that be? :rolleyes:

    If TSA employees treated people with respect and got their hands out of our clothes and off our genitals then I suspect the checkpoint would be a more friendly place.

    I don't condone striking an A.S.S. but understand why it happens. TSA policies have created the problem.

    I predict that the enhanced roving BDO program will result in a number of knuckle sandwiches being consumed.

    Well, no. I don't see it. People will put up with a lot, and be quite docile. The "comply with authority" impulse is quite strong. Suggested reading: Solzhenitsyn, Gulag Archipelago. Not that we're at that point -- yet -- but to show how much people will tolerate, yes, this is instructive.
