Washington Post: TSA reputation comes under fire
Of course Pissy & the union head dispute the bloat.
Feh! I WISH more of them would stand around and do nothing. It's the ones who are doing something that are the problem.
Standing around doing nothing means standing around and NOT MOLESTING TRAVELERS.
Pistole is completely out of touch with how a growing number of people view TSA.
I suspect it is difficult to see much when Pistole has his head stuck up his (expletive deleted).
This was very obvious during his hearing last week. Multiple times he tried to negate the point of view of citizens, downplaying issues as anecdotes, regardless of of the truth of the matter. He made statements that were rebutted twice by Mr. Rogers and another committee member when he told them that people are happy with the TSA's performance. I am not a fan of Mr. Rogers as I think some of his motive is just hot air for show, but he told Pistole, without exception, anytime discussion of TSA arises that people get mad and are very irritated. Pistole acted like he was shocked. He appears incapable of telling the truth at all, so I see most of his statements dismissing accounts of TSA abuse or Americans view of the TSA as an outright lie to protect himself and the organization. But I can see some of it as just being truly out of touch with Americans, American values and American rights.
Could be pathological. He may have fully convinced himself that people actually do love him and his band of merry molesters.
What I wouldn't give for him to spend one day on Facebook, at TSA News Blog, here at TUG and reading Disqus comments to see the kind of attitude the people really have toward his organization. I foresee Victorian-style fainting spells in his future.
Let's face it, the guy has fascist tendencies. He believes his own (expletive deleted) and doesn't care if people are getting abused anyway.
I understand he travels nowhere without a good escort. Methinks he knows the extent and depth of loathing he has earned for himself.
I forget who first said it, but someone here pointed out that Reichskommissar John S. Pistole and Reichsminister Janet Napolitano are going to go the rest of their lives constantly looking over their shoulders. They'll never feel safe in society again.
Fitting, as far as I'm concerned, considering that they've butchered so many civil rights upon the sacrificial altar of safety. Delicious irony that they should have no safety of their own.
Separate names with a comma.
