Nothing new for those of you in the west, but for us here on the east coast, it's an event.

This is my second quake in NJ in 18 months - more than I felt in 2+ years of living in California.

Where will we go, when there's no Hackensack?
Better get ready to tie up your boat in Mackinac.

Do you know how to swim? Better learn quickly!
Those who don't know to swim, better sing the hymn.

Just a nervous response since the Cascadia Subduction Zone will obliterate my world someday.

When Doober first posted, I thought, 'What are you doing in CO?', then later saw about the east coast. Amazing how far it was felt, in Boston, even-- don't have that same substrate here.

US Geological Scientists have identified the place where the tectonic plates shifted under the Washington area.

The earthquake was centered on the "Not My Fault" that runs from the White House to the Capitol.

It was triggered by the collective rolling in the graves by our Nation's founding fathers.

The Obama administration has decided to name it "Bush's Fault".
