    What's good for the goose...

    Dear Ricky,

We regret that you feel you had an unpleasant legal experience.

However, airline passengers around the world continue to receive alarming intelligence that there are many, perhaps thousands, of people in US airports waiting for the opportunity to steal their belongings. This threat cannot be underestimated. Action must be taken. Out of an abundance of caution, every act that appears to be potentially related to the possibility that it could in any way be interpreted as a plausible loss of property must be met with the maximum penalties. If we allow TSA employees to move laptops without permission, the Bad Guys will use TSA employees to steal laptops for them. It's a loophole that must be closed.

Think of the children. Better safe than sorry. It only happens to 3% of TSA employees so it doesn't really matter.

    Yours sincerely,
    [name withheld due to SSI].

since this fellow is engaged in or abetting criminal activity including sexual molestation of passengers, who cares if he stole the laptop or not. Jail and unemployment are still appropriate for him and his 60,000 friends.

Did you know that Ricky German was the Vice President of the local TSA union?

I sent this email to the union President, but never heard anything back. I wonder why? :p

    Hello Mr. Leonard,

I noticed on your website that there is no picture of your colleague, Chapter 321 Vice President Ricky German. Please find attached a photo that your webmaster can use. I believe the photo should be credited to the MEM Airport Police.

    Safe travels!

Let's work on this part...milk that plea bargain and smoke out the rest. I mean, he's willing to name names and all.

I really like one of the comments:

"Who are you going to believe? Me or that lying camera?!"

OMG, this entire article is chock FULL of gems! Like this one:

Uh...YEAH! You are...and all of your co-horts too!

And THIS is who we put on the so-called "front lines" in the so-called "war on terror"??

Gee, maybe now you'll get how WE feel when we're forced to stand in the plexiglass-box-o-shame and undergo a sexual assault for the "crime" of trying to board an aircraft for which we've bought a ticket.

Yeah. Like sexually assaulting innocent civilians for the "crime" of trying to board an aircraft.
