Speaking for forest fires (under Weather/Disaster/Emergency above), I don't recall that this bit of news ever came up for discussion:

    http://www.cbn.com/cbnnews/world/2012/May/Magazine-Gives-Step-By-Step-Guide-to-Terrorism/

There, I've been able to put at least four of DHS's special words/phrases into one comment.

Do be careful of infrastructure security when you are digging for worms under your house to go phishing under the bridge while your cat declares jihad on mice.

I'm sure glad I live on land zoned for agriculture. There are lots of chances for human-to-animal contact. We have a herd of cows in the pasture across the street. Not one of them has ever come down with Foot and Mouth disease. I am not very resistant to poison ivy, which means I always have a chance of exposure. Being out in the country, we do have a lot of black outs, and, we're a long way from an airport.

Also, out here in the boonies, we have a poor communications infrastructure, with lots of cell phone service disruption.

The most effective way to counter this latest abuse of our civil rights is to use these "scawy, scawy" words as often as possible.

Don't remember the username, but someone on Slashdot has a signature that reads:

"ECHELON? Isn't that the UKUSA program where they watch for words like bomb, kill, assassinate, president and terrorist?"

Back in the early days of the internet people had keywords as signature files.

I think it would be a great idea for us to use as many of these words as possible when posting over on Propaganda Village. ;)

For extra credit we should each write a short story (or maybe a novella) using ALL of those words. Then we should post them.

    Bwahahahahahahahaha

My god, I totally bombed that test. My parents are going to kill me. I mean, how could I be so stupid as to misspell "assassinate?" It's got the word "(expletive deleted)" in it twice, ferchrissakes! Ugh, so much for my aspirations of being president of the literature club. Was SO looking forward to having the group read Clancy's new terrorist novel.

(obviously not enough to qualify as a novella, but it was fun)

    Excellent.

Here's my plan - although I don't have a plot worked out yet..... Short story (maybe really short) using all of these words, but setting it in the Lovecraft universe. I still have to pick the appropriate Great Old One as the villain of the piece.

    C'mon, doesn't that sound like fun? :p

I'm thinking Reichsminister Janet Napolitano is roughly analogous to Yog-Sothoth: so hideous and evil the human mind cannot properly comprehend it.
Reichskommissar John S. Pistole would be Azathoth - literally the greatest bumbling idiot in the entire universe who, for all the influence he wields, has no clue at all what is going on around him.
Transportation Security CNONAs (Clerks-Not-Officers-Not-Agents) would be an army of Y'Golonacs. No brain and very unpleasant hands.

YES! I had been thinking of Azathoth already. The Y'Golonacs are a nice touch (pun intended).
