This TV station really needs to pay attention to the quality & accuracy of their reporting. Only three (not four) TSA agents were arrested in this operation, and TSA agents are NOT law enforcement officers.

I try to post as many "TSA screeners are NOT 'agents' and NOT 'officers'" comments as I can but the reporters don't seem to get the hint. I'll grant that "agent" comes somewhat naturally when following a three-letter-acronym agency name, but calling smurf-clerks "officers" is just playing right into TSA's hand with its word games.

With the current state of "professional" journalism is it any surprise the lame stream and dead tree media are on their last legs?

Looking at it from a glass-is-half-full angle, every time there is a report that a TSA "officer" or "agent" is arrested, it dulls the shine on the fake tin badge and the authority they try to convey. ^
